This bank is a government company based in Greater Jakarta Area. It begins on 05 July 1946 in Jakarta. The name is Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI) in English it translates to Indonesian Government Bank.

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is a state-owned bank that conducts commercial and consumer banking services. The BBNI products and services: Individual, Business, Syariah, Micro Banking, and Online Features. The current President Director is Herry Sidharta started from last February 2020. The previous experience of Herry was Vice President Director since March 2017 till 2020. The BBNI IPO-ed since 25 November 1996 with PT Danareksa Sekuritas as the underwriter.

BBNI is making a tremendous effort to reach Millenials and below. BNI Griya Expo as one of them, by helping Millenials to have their own home with soft interest.
